Cosmetic Acupuncture
What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Cosmetic acupuncture, also known as acupuncture facelift or facial rejuvenation, is applied to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Cosmetic acupuncture serves as a natural alternative to medical cosmetic procedures and involves the insertion of tiny needles throughout the face. These needles are left in place for up to half an hour, followed by mild electrical stimulation of the skin, and concluded with a soothing jade roller treatment.

There are some risks and side effects to cosmetic acupuncture that may include soreness or pain, slight bruising, redness at the area of insertion, and possibly pain as well. However, such occurrences are relatively rare.
What are Benefits of Cosmetic Acupuncture?
One study found that the majority of people saw improvements after just five sessions of facial acupuncture. It recommends 10 treatments once or twice a week to see optimum results. After that, you can enter a "maintenance stage," where you receive the treatment every four to eight weeks.

Benefits of cosmetic acupuncture include softening of lines and wrinkles, lifting sagging, boosting collagen in areas that have lost firmness and volume, brightening and evening out the complexion, reducing pore size, and enhancing hydration.

Cosmetic Acupuncture vs. Botox
Cosmetic acupuncture is not as immediately effective as Botox, and the effects may not be as dramatic. It also typically requires a series of treatments to achieve the desired results, whereas Botox can produce noticeable improvements after just one treatment.
Additionally, it's worth noting that cosmetic acupuncture is a non-invasive procedure with a lower risk of side effects compared to Botox injections, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a more gradual and natural approach to facial rejuvenation.
