Acupuncture therapy regulates the flow of qi and blood, reducing deficiencies, eliminating excesses, and promoting the free flow of stagnation. This concept is sourced from the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) classic text, 'Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon', which states: 'PAIN MEANS BLOCKAGE,' and 'NO BLOCKAGE, NO PAIN.' This implies that when Qi and blood flow smoothly, there is no pain in the body. Pain arises when there is a blockage in the flow of Qi and blood.

Herbal remedies are crafted from plant materials and are employed to treat diseases and maintain good health. They have been utilized since the dawn of human history. Interestingly, many conventional medicines trace their origins back to a single active ingredient found in a plant. This is in contrast to herbal remedies, which may encompass dozens of different ingredients. Herbalists emphasize the significance of maintaining the balance of all elements within a plant, as different components are believed to enhance each other's potency. It's crucial to note that herbal remedies may interact with other medicines and could have potential side effects.
